Oh no she didn't: Friday 7th

Well Ranjitha, you have underestimated how pathetic I am yet again. I actually have a guilty peek at this ex-decent blog occasionally AND I can promise you I most certainly will NOT confront you at school because I am a massive pushover and I don't really mind that you excused yourself. Actually impressed that you bothered to leave a little goodbye post.
If you were me you would just disappear for a few months and start apologising; but then again if you were me that would be the least of your worries. And I always come back in whichever unspectacular way I can manage whereas you seem to be gone for good :'(
And back to me being pathetic- even if I had half the balls required to confront someone, the mere thought of the physical exertions required to do so is enough to leave me reaching for my puffer.

Goodbye, farewell, auf wiedersehen, goodnight

Hi Everybody,

So my last attempt to revive this blog didn't exactly work out, did it? This blog, I guess, has been somewhat forgotten in our very large and busy lifystyles, and although I love being a part of A Part of Us, I have to accept that there are bigger things going on that I need to focus on.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not quitting because I can't handle the job. If that was the reason, I wouldn't quit. I'd stay as a contributor just for the satisfaction of being a contributor to the blog, even if I have to ignore the fact that I was for most of the time to get rid of the nagging feeling I get from not updating. It's just that I've been having issues with blogger, and it won't let me change my email without removing myself as an author. This by itself probably wouldn't be that big a deal, but I also feel that I don't want to commit myself to something if I'm not going to live up to it.

Maybe the fact that I'm totally screwing up 9th grade and the internet is a major distraction might play a part too. But yeah. I guess I'm leaving. I really hate to do it. I haven't even told Vivian yet (she'll return to this blog in maybe a month or two and then confront me at school... but I'll be ready). But I'm going. Maybe one day, if Vivian bothers to revive it, and if she doesn't get mad at me for leaving and constantly quasi-blaming her for the slow and painful death of A Part of Us, I might return, but until that times comes (and until my grades start picking up), this is farewell.

Oh, and just in case you live under a rock yet still managed to read the last post... Lady Gaga didn't even turn up to the VMA's. But Jo Calderone did. That sure beat the meat, if you get what I mean.... Ha ha... yeah, now you probably want me to be gone. Well, wish granted.

Bye guys. I'll miss you. For a week.

2011 VMA's

Hello nonexistent viewers,

So I recently remembered there's this site, and it's called "http://myrantyrubbish.blogspot.com/." Why yes, that's this site, how interesting an observation! And I was reading the posts when it suddenly occurred to me, "Holy cr*p, I'm meant to be a contributor on this!" So alas, a post.

Well, my life hasn't suddenly taken a huge turn for the more interesting. If you didn't enjoy my posts before, you might as well skip reading this and scroll down to the more fun blogs of the others. But since you've already reached here...

So the VMA's are coming up soon, in twelve hours too if I counted correctly (knowing me, probably not) and it's pretty exciting. Katy Perry has scored nine nominations, so you can be sure she'll be leaving with some pretty glam swag (or more bookends, each to their own). Beyonce is going to be sitting next to Britney, that's be interesting. The stage is also going to be star studded with great performances (does this sound like an ad to you?), by Jessie J, Cobra Starship, Pitbull and (the one I anticipate most) Lady Gaga!

No I'm not over her Helen. You predicted wrong. And I'm just as excited to see what she comes up with to make this years VMA's as great as the last two. Remember the controversial meat dress from last year? Some people are still not sure whether they like that or not. And what about her stabbing herself on stage in a performance?

     She's been practising "Yo
ΓΌ and I" with some snazzy brass players in the background (from the videos I've seen), so it will be interesting to see if she steps up from the previous headlines or if she just goes for a more refined version of the song. Whatever she does, I'll be waiting!

Anyway, my parents are staring daggers at me, so I'm out now. Thanks for reading.

You're a unicorn?! Hey babe ;)

YO! Long time, ayeee? ;D
Well Blake came across this, and I thought it was blog-worthy. I completely face-palmed.

kripa3 up2 down
A mythical Nepali creature often mistaken for a fanciful unicorn. Kripa appears violent when she is seen attacking innocent bystanders (and many fear her for that reason), but is actually one of the kindest creatures known to man. She never fails to make her observers laugh by making a complete fool of herself in the most charming way. Observers should be aware that Kripa is especially prone to making loud noises reminiscent of an animal in distress, being distracted by shiny things, and being extremely cuddly (she is approximately cuddlier than a teddy bear, but -- despite the resemblance -- slightly less cuddly than a real bear).
Example: Oh hey there. That Kripa is too awesomazetasticalicious for school.
Oh, Urban Dictionary <3
Btw, the Tumsters are back! http://thetumsters.blogspot.com/ check it out (:

G'byee (:

who the hell are you? (first blogging experience) :') so. touching.

ergh i dont do the whole blogging thing btw
but i was reading this thing on smh (or wiki i don't remember) about how people don't really know their friends, and because most of yousssss don't really know me here it goes. Some research dude thinks like people dont know the basics of their friends, now think of one of your best best best friends (male or female or cow.moo)    think, statistics say that 54% or people don't know their friends favourite colour ..  or lucky number
yes, these are just stupid ass things but there are like others you know. sciencetists did some tests or something  and learnt otherthings,

like people know the massive things about people who they like or so on but not much the smaller less important things. Really knowing the less important things would mean more to someone that knowing big things.

i've only realised how little i know about the people around me at school. .   Only recently i noticed that one of my friend. lived overseas for 7 years before migrating here. on of my friends was born in Belgium or something like that ... o_o

tis very scarying learning facts about your friends which you really should know but you don't.
For anyone out there who sadly wants to know me ....
im arunan
my favourite colour has always been red then purple
my lucky number is 23

I'm Embarassing: Thursday 28th

Hello and welcome, to yet another half hearted attempt to revive this blog. I feel the sudden urge to start blogging again, probably because its the beginning of term and I am really that bored. Unfortunately, any creative juice I had has appeared to be sucked dry by me just bothering to see how many blogwalkers have graced this blog with their ads (by the way it appears even they seem to have lost their old internet spammy touch)
Lets move away from my life issues and focus on anything else that is vaguely entertaining. Before you are very disappointed, I don't think you understand how hard it is to think of something interesting to say, I just spent the last 3 hours staring vacantly at my maths homework and whatnot.

Well i've spent a good half a day thinking about what to write, and i didn't think of much except to rattle on about how much of an awkward failure my life is.
So, Lets Get STARTED!
Naturally, there's been a heap of embarrassing things i've done since my last post. Lets make a list.
  1. I haven't posted on my shitty blog for so long that I've forced myself to write something for about two hours, and if this isn't a failure it must be something worse. I also have no excuse for my abandonment, I could say that I forgot it existed but its bookmarked between Facebook and Youtube meaning I try to avoid eye contact with that little Blogger icon at least 5 times a week for over 2 months. great.
  2. Got out of bed and realised my legs were numb, that is, after I collapsed from my inability to hold my own weight.
  3. Walked into yet another male changeroom
  4. Watched youtube videos for days at a time
  5. Optional maths homework (i'm going to hell for that)
  6. Feel really self conscious looking for a book in the Junior fiction section and having to kneel to look at the first row of picture books.
  7. Made some feeble attempts to pretend to be a librarian and realised I was wearing trackpants and a singlet. I may as well strut into a bank in pajamas, complete with bunny slippers and atrocious bedhair and get arrested.
  8. Self diagnosed myslef wiht typing dyslexia to shift the blame of some very awkward typos
  9. Actually tried really hard to think of ways to embarrass myself on the internet on a blog no one really wants to read
This list was supposed to be a lot better, but you know what they say,
I'm Embarrassing
Oh well. Can't say I didn't try,

Thanks a million

Hi: Monday 9th

Hello, because i've gotten to the point where my promises that i'll continue to blog, just don't seem to have the believability they used to, im just going to say HI, sorry i stopped blogging, but im back now, for one blog at least, hopefully, or i'm just wasting my time writing this, realising its shit and then never posting it.
But you and i both know everything i write is absolutely and utterly brilliant, clear, succinct and most importantly, true.
(lame) Jokes(/attempts at humour) aside, I shall attempt to fill in holes in my blog, because it has been pointed out to me that i yell about my problems and never write about what happens afterwards. Well following, my last post.. which appeared to be about um stretchy short shorts for volleyball. I lost a pair and used Nings and the volleyball tournament was fun. We got you know kinda thrashed, but it was still fun and we improved ladidahdah.
I'll keep it short, highlights of the trip:
- On a stop at maccas we met an asian tourist group and one of them almost followed Ning on to the bus because she could speak mandarin
- A peacock came into my room, shit on my bed, took my sock and Karen's glasses.. until we found them again BUT i swear there was peacock poo EVERYWHERE. it was so scary
- Touching Jessies abs, need I say more?
- Anita's TMIs, i will carry that with me for the rest of my life
- Ning roasting her underwear and socks by the fire
- Karen's 50million or so photos at unflattering angles
- Stephanie yelling and screaming and catapulting into an empty room
- Dela and Jess walking into the bathroom while Karen was showering, knowingly

Ok I realised that would be extremely boring for someone who didn't go to the camp to read. Which is, most of you. DON'T READ IT. its so boring omygod i just read it. Because of this i'll probably blog again out of pure guilt.

Stretchy Short Shorts: Monday 14th

Today I bought two pairs of stretchy shorts about 15cm long. Honestly, way to make me feel self conscious. As someone pointed out, its like wearing a second underwear. Clingy underwear. And the shirts short too. Theres no escape. If you haven't figured out already, i'm talking about the volleyball uniforms, that allow no fat to be hidden. We're wearing them for competitions at Albury in the holidays which is pretty exciting, despite that our team has already accepted defeat to over 50% of the games. I'm actually not exaggerating a lot or being too pessimistic, somehow we're actually a NSW team and we're going against people from Victoria and stuff. And obviously if you live that far away, I'm pretty sure these teams are pretty damn competitive. Plus they were probably chosen... honestly it beats me that we're allowed to go. Though, strangely enough we play a lot better when we don't feel obliged to win.
But
As far as the uniforms are going, I have a feeling i'm going to be spending half the time hiding in those awful jackets we ordered.

Also something I found exciting but i'll keep it quick because most of you probably know. We got our netbooks today and come on guys, stop complaining. They're good enough. I mean after hearing all those pre-complaints, they're FINE. I'm just worried that I have another thing to lose. A particularly expensive one too. Btw, how can they even compare it to carrying it around like a wallet? I mean, who carrys around wallets that weigh over a kilo.

Cousins: Sunday 13th

I talk a lot about my little cousins. Here's a short video my brother made instead of helping me with my homework... studying for his exams, whatever. I stole it off his blog.
By they way, you can't really tell in the video but THEY LOVE being on camera, but its such a shame when they feel obliged to act silly for it. I personally find it far more amusing when they just act normally.

The Adventures of Vivian: Friday 11th

Hello to the two or three lovely individuals who would ever read this blog.
Confession time:
I went to the library today, spent half an hour looking around, found five books, went to borrow them, and realised I didn't have a library card.
So I called my dad and he stole my brothers library card and saved me from the humiliation of putting all those books back.
Meanwhile outside, a pipe burst or something and there was like metre-high brown water gushing outside the library. So I was sort of stranded with five books, no library card, tiny bag and a phone that beeped "low battery" every two seconds. Seriously, I cannot control the thing. Yesterday it woke me up at 5:30 in the morning with an email so I turned it off and almost missed my bus.

BY THE WAY:
RESPECT- to all the people who shaved, you guys either have serious balls or were very peer pressured. Either way, you guys are awesome. Nice work.

Yeah so sum up of the post: if you don't know already, i'm a huge nerd and this was a boring post but i'm not bothered to even put a customary excuse anymore because you've heard them all before.
I should totally write a book-
The Adventures of Vivian. Part I: At The Library.
It'll win most interesting book of the year and I will be famous. Thats right, start investing on autographs now guys.

Got any Grapes?: Tuesday 8th

I just watched the Duck Song clip and its HILLARRYOUS, you guys didn't do it justice (Kripa and Stephanie). There's just something about that ducks awesome face and it waddling away that gets me. bumpbumpbump
GOT ANY GRAPES?

Anyway, Arun is cool (and not just because he told me to write this). He commented at his own will, good boy.
Thats all I pretty much wanted to say..
Oh and something no one really wants to know: I have so much volleyball training nowadays it feels like i'm going to explode. Not really, do not be alarmed. I actually like training, i just don't like waking up early. I get sooo sleepy nowadays, and then theres my asthma, hayfever and maths homework. But I live, I mean who else would write CAPTIVATING blogs on an irregular basis?
Oh to make up for my lack of content/ extremely boring post. I'll link you to probably my favourite Tropfest video this year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3QA0fKqmHQ
Its brilliant. Apologies if you've already watched it, for this post now has nothing to offer to you besides a big picture of a duck I like and a few excuses.

Onions taste?: Monday 7th

So Blake told me to talk about onions. And because onions are edible, I apologise for instinctively wanting to talk about how they taste like, my favourite types of onions and what they go well with. Then i'd decide that I don't really mind how most food tastes like as long as its for me. But when I thought about it, how do onions taste like? It took me five minutes to come up with, onions. What else tastes likes onions? Wasabi? maybe? thats the closest I can get. But it should supposedly be able to be described by the six basic tastes: salty, sweet, sour, bitter, ummami (kind of like salty) and interestingly enough, fat. Well at least I found it interesting when my brother told me. Two times over actually. I forgot, and was equally amazed the second time. Anyhoo, if anyone has a better description of how onions taste like, please let me know. And don't be boring and say tears, because if I can think of it, it's not funny or smart. The best description wins.. some gratitude.
I suddenly feel really obliged to describe onions now.
damn thats depressing.
-AWESOME SEGUE-
Talking about depressing, PEARL IS BACK. Welcome back Pearl, I know you don't read my blog (I don't know why, it's not like your too cool for it) but my idea sponsor told me to welcome you back/ tell you to go back to India. I'm kidding lady, that'd mean i'd have to go through the whole exhausting Pearl hunting and pretending-to-care-that-you're-back all over again.
Call me a horrible person, but i'm a cowardly one too, taking advantage of the fact she won't read this... now I know someone's just going to bag me out. Thanks

SURPRISE: Sunday 6th

That was quite rude of me. I think its about time my once precious little blog got back and running. But not to worry, I am back here now to amaze you with some riveting new stories about my fantastic life and adventures alone.. at home.. on the internet. So look forward to me pointing out those awkward things in life, just like those old times -i had with your mum (sorry my mum jokes were never really funny for anyone. i was hoping it'd be a bit better here. obviously not.)
Heres a little teaser: the groundbreaking discovery I had on Friday.

wait forr itttt
I, VIVIAN KONG IS ACTUALLY PHYSICALLY CAPABLE
OF
NOT GOING ON THE COMPUTER FOR THE WHOLE DAY
(besides school computers, and mainly because I was doing something even
more mindnumbing and repetitive. Oh dear god, Maths.)

AND before I go leave you all to your happy lives, I just have a little complaint/warn
ing. Mainly for the ladies... or gentlemen, if your that kind of guy.
HOW ON EARTH DO PEOPLE USE THESE THINGS

THEY'RE LIKE PURE STRETCHY PAIN. I get that they're reasonably nice looking and useful. Until you try and get them out of your hair. I used to have millions of these when I was little, and until now, I was smart enough to stay away from them ever since those traumatic hair days. I mean if it wasn't that, the fact that they're pretty much coloured rubber bands should've told me something.
Literally, to take them out you have a choice of either
a) Break them
b) Pull half my hair out
c) All of the above
or you could leave them in there and take a chance by showering or something. Meaning theres a chance it could get stuck inside an even massive-r ball of hair forever. But it could also just fall out, I once combed my hair and fifty bobby pins fell out, it was really satisfying. I also once stuck a blob of putty on my head and it didn't fall out, and on the contrary I started crying, but thats another story.
I guess the point of that, if there ever is a point of things I do on the internet, was that:
i'm an idiot and ..don't be like me.

Bring Walmart to Australia!

Hello Readers,

Well, it's been a while since I last blogged. Hell, it's been a while since anyone blogged. In fact,

nobody's blogged since last year!

Ok, that is one of the lamest and most overused jokes of the New Year, but I just couldn't help it. Anyway, since nobody's got around to saying it yet, on behalf of the whole A Part of Us team:

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!

I should probably have asked before I said "on behalf," but Dennis has been saying it to anyone who hangs around long enough to listen, so I doubt he'd mind. Kripa seems to have gone on some sort of Internet hiatus, neither having blogged nor contacted me in any way since school ended last year, and Vivian's on a different continent altogether, but she's a kind soul, so she won't mind either.

Anyway, today I had a wild and crazy idea. I'm going to petition to bring Walmart to Australia! I need a thousand brave and considerate souls to sign their my online peition form, and then I'll send it to the CEO of Walmart.

Actually, I'm dead serious. I've already got the petition up. Seriously, here's the link: http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/bringwalmarttooz/

You might be wondering why I would bother/want to bring such a huge chain to Australia, when we already have Target and Woolworths and Kmart and stuff. For all I know, I'm just a little girl. I could be ruining Australia's economy by bringing such a large financial competitor to our board, wiping it clean of all chances for small businesses.

Well, the explanation will require more linkage:
http://www.softsailor.com/other-news/11334-333-ways-to-get-kicked-out-of-walmart.html

You can't blame me for wanting to participate in a world wide phenomenon. Also, all our big brands... Woolworths and Big W and Kmart... they can't really help in a zombie invasion, can they? But Walmart, with it's big, concrete walls and endless supply of stock of food and drink... we could be the last person on Earth not to be turned into a zombie and never have to worry. Even if the zombies were armed with machine guns and bazookas and tank guns and rifles... yes, I'd be worried if they had an atomic bomb, but that's just not going to happen because the only place you'll get all the ingredients for an atomic bomb in one place is... you guessed it. WALMART.

So, sign the petition. Thank you.

That's all for now. Thanks for reading!

Holiday: Tuesday 21st

Hey everyone, i've come back from a long time without blogging to tell you I won't be blogging for even longer. But hopefully when I do i'll have a lot more to blog about because for those of you who've read a few of my older posts or just know, my parents have bought tickets conveniently before Christmas again, so i'll be going to Malaysia/Goldcoast on Wednesday.
There may be a slight possibility that i'll be able to write something during the holiday but even if I could I probably wouldn't be bothered. And for those with brilliant tastes and a thirst for entertaining and ingenious blog posts, enjoy some brilliant literature while you can because me and my atrocious grammar will be back by the 13th with lots to tell and no one who cares.

Thanks for waiting

Ew blood: Monday 13th

The weather's gone all lame again- better than the freezing cold but this hot sticky business isn't ideal either. In fact, i'm typing this with my very overworked right hand because my left is being used to hold tissues to my second bleeding nose today. I'm one of those people who get bleeding noses all the time: a total bitch for the weather (I get asthma from weather changes too), and its pretty lame sneezing (from pollen carried by the WIND- weather again) and finding blood all over your hands. Its gross and pretty alarming at first but after a while its more like "oh man, not again"
Oh and worse still. Is when its at school, and people go crazy.
Bleeding noses don't hurt guys. I know in some circumstances, yeah, yeah but making people talk while they've got a mass of tissues pressed to their nose doesn't help.I know: I would probably ask "are you okay" as well, its like an automatic thing. But bleeding noses aren't a big deal- unless your talking about one you got from getting smashed in the face or something.

Anyway, happy holidays everyone

The Great Christmas Card Dilemma

Hello People,

It's December now. Doesn't it seem a little sudden to you? Last week, we couldn't wait for this term to end. I come back from Cadet Camp, and lo and behold, term's ending in a week! Not only that, but it's time to get your stockings (and wallets) ready, because you're going to need to get into the Christmas spirit.

I just spent a good half hour of my life searching for those very elusive Christmas cards from years passed, and eventually found them. I also found the list of every single person in the grade (and their classes) that I had somehow managed to sneak from the school administration (hush, don't tell!). So now it's time to start cutting down to who I want to send cards to, and start writing them out.

     I can't get it under 50.

Unlike Vivian, who has a solid group of friends that she hangs out with every lunch and does her fun stuff with (and if her mother ever reads this, let me inform you that she's quite popular enough to have well over 10 friends, thank you very much), I don't actually have a very solid footing in the social ladder.

Unlike Sheldon (BBT), I can't make my own technically advanced escalator and allocate a certain amount of steps to whoever I deem worthy, removing said person when someone of higher worth comes along. I'm not that socially deprived.

Unlike Dennis, I at least have some kind of social life.

     Just kidding! Just kidding!

To be honest, I don't know who Dennis is and what kind of friends he has... if he has any...

And unlike Kripa, who has deserted the blog (shame on you!), I'm not known by everyone, I don't
know everyone, and I'm not going to write a card to everybody in the grade.

I'm a nomad. I have no best friends.
I have no worst enemies. I have no special "group" I hang out with. I just have a whole lot of friends, and I choose to hang out with whoever I feel like, at whatever time I want. Don't understand? Well, let me relate to you with an analogy that any teen would understand.

Vivian has, let's say, 200 facebook friends. But she has 10 friends that are really close to her, and she's labelled these all as her 'sisters' and 'brothers' (and in some cases, children... which is kind of disturbing actually).

Sheldon would have 5 facebook friends. Everybody else, he would deem as people he 'knows' but not as 'friends' so he wouldn't add anyone or accept anyone else. Since he would find it pointless to label the chosen 5 as family members, he wouldn't do it, but if he had to, these 5 friends would certainly be siblings.

Let's skip Dennis... because I don't know anything about him.

Kripa would have 500 facebook friends, but have something ranging from 5-20 siblings. You can't really tell who's close to her, because it seems to ever change.

Do you get what I mean now?

As for me, I'd probably have somewhere around 300, but none of them would be part of my family. Forget that I think it's pointless too, and weird. I have no actual group of friends of my own to actually have a family anyway. Not to say that I haven't had family requests before, because I have (rejected them too, as you can guess). I'm just a nomad, and prefer to have my large circle of semi-friends than have a small circle of best friends.

Wow... off track, much? What the hell was I talking about before?

Oh right, Christmas cards. Anyway, because I have so many semi-friends, and not that many close-friends, and certainly no best-friends, it's hard to narrow down who I want to send cards too. If I kept it to my close friends, I'd probably only end up sending it to ten people. But then my close-enough-but-not-really-close friends would be offended for not getting a card.

So I send the cards to the close-enough-but-not-really-close friends, but then my semi-friends in their class will see how many cards I gave out, and feel left out.

So then I'll have to give the cards to my close friends, close-enough-but-not-really-close friends,
and my friends-who-aren't-that-close-at-all-but-still-are-friends. This will end up being 80% of the grade. So the remaining people will feel incredibly left out, because I'm sending so many cards out, but still managing to forget them.

So then I'll have to send a card to everyone I know, which is 90% of the grade. Then, the last 10% of people who I don't know will know that I gave out a lot of cards, and wonder why they didn't get one. And then I'll end up sending a card to every one in the grade.

     See my dilemma?

So anyway, the fact that I've actually got it down to 50 is a great achievement in itself. And now I realise that I've got a bit carried away, so I shall end my post here. Congratulations if you actually made it to the end! You deserve a Christmas Card!

Ok, I won't start that again. Thanks for reading!

Christmas Cards: Monday 6th

I've been writing Christmas cards recently, so i'm feeling in a very falsely kind and cheery mood. My mind is filled with now meaningless cliches and lame ideas in attempt to make the card more interesting. Though I know the cards are going to be forgotten and lost within 24 hrs, in the first 5 minutes they are valued immensely as they come with the relief of being remembered. And it is with this large gush of relief the recipient will be reading the card which would make all those lame jokes and somewhat personalised comments seem so much better. So I may as well try and write something different.. however offensive, right? I mean people can't complain when you've given them a Christmas Card, right?
Its Ok, I only wrote mean things in cards to people I would feel awkward around without making some attempt to annoy, enemies and close friends. HA! now you'll feel cut if I didn't write anything mean in your card! NOW I CAN WRITE MEAN THINGS IN EVERYONES CARD!
Actually, I take that back, who would care if I cared about them or not anyway?

I just thought about something my mum said while I was buying cards with Ning.
She was like:
You only need to write around 10 cards, In life you only need one husband and around.. 10 friends but I think YOU (sizes me up) should be happy with 6 or 7 friends.
Reminds me of Sheldon from Big Bang Theory when he has to decide who to stop being friends with to make room for another.

Awkward Haircuts and Hunger: Thursday 2nd

Since i'm wildly posting things I wasn't bothered to finish writing, here's something I wrote a while ago and got bored of:
I like to think that i've change somewhat from when I was little, preferably on an intellectual level and hopefully slightly more mature. Somehow having nothing to do made me think about some of the things that have changed since I cried on the first day of preschool.
Stuff like having haircuts has changed so much. Every kid I knew before despised having haircuts, I don't know why I did but I can still remember the horrors of sitting on an uncomfortably hard, ancient copy of yellow pages so that I was level with the mirrors, wondering what I ever did to deserve a haircut. I don't know about you people, but I dreaded those moments when hair fell on an awkward spot on my face and I had to resist a strong urge to tear that plastic they'd wrap around you and scratch my face. And then there were those moments when it looks like they are going to cut a stack of hair and I wanted to spin around take my hairdresser by the shoulders and scream "what the hell do you think your doing?" but being the nice little girl I was, I just watched in terror and hoped for the best.
Nowadays of course, I watch every strand of hair they cut and yell not too short! at regular intervals and when hair falls on my face- i glare at it until it blows up (it never happens anymore, i don't know why but i imagine if it did i'd try that, then i'd blow it off with my highly developed hair blowing skills (lolwhut).
Then of course theres the smaller things (i would say that they were less obvious but when it comes to food, i'd say its pretty obvious to anyone who knows me well, ie. seen me eat) like eating not just a hell of a lot more, but my appreciation for food has changed so much you'd think I was starved as a child.

I can't be bothered to add more
