I'm not starting the Conversation

Hello Readers,

In my introduction blog, I couldn't help but notice that Vivian said "daily loss of productivity." Well, I don't intend to blog daily, but I sure will blog regularly. Depends on how much patience I can practise. Which is not much at all, really.

Anyway, the Commonwealth Games are well under way, and it really excites me that Australia is owning. I mean that quite literally. With 44 medals, we're coming first. 21 gold, 14 silver and 9 bronze. India's coming second, and England is coming third. So really, the results are awesome. It's scarily awesome. Aren't you proud to be Aussie?

Well, actually, most of the people who are reading this are probably from my school, which means they are most likely Asian. But it doesn't matter, because we're all Australians too.

Anyway, today I woke up really early, earlier than my usual 5:45am. I logged onto WLM at 7am, and a few minutes ago, one of my friends logged in. About 15 minutes ago to be exact.

I've already opened the window. I'm just waiting for him to speak. I've been waiting for a quarter of an hour. He's doing the same thing to me. But I'm stubborn, I won't relent. We'll see how long it is before he finally speaks.

How many times have you done this? I'm pretty sure there's even a Facebook like about this. "I want to talk to you, but I'm not starting the conversation." We'll see how long this takes. I won't post this blog until he speaks. This may take a while. We're both pretty stubborn.

Nevermind, he logged off. That kind of makes me feel... stupid. But never fear, next time, he will speak to me first. He was probably just busy. Or, he was giving up. That was his way of giving up. Oh! That meant I won!

By the way, Happy Birthday George. I'm guessing he's 14, and if he's not, that was a typo. Now I'm going to shut up because this is a huge post. Almost as huge as a George, if you get my meaning. Thank you Vivian, I'm going to remember that one.

That's all for now. Thanks for reading!

George: Thursday 7th

I was asked to blog about George because its his birthday tomorrow.. and apparently thats the sort of thing you ask for when its 11 hours to your birthday. So, because I lack the creative energy and have a certain restraint on what I can write. I will retreat to urban-dictionarying his name and employ the first somewhat flattering entry to avoid having to think too hard.

My "1st Lines of Witticism"

Hello Everybody,

I've just recieved my Krippy Award, and it's time for me to make my Thank You speech. I'm totally unprepared, because, well, I didn't realise I'd be recieving an award at all. I didn't realise that my constant spamming of the cbox on the right here would be something worth mentioning, but the hypothetical award in my hands proves me wrong. This award, well, it brings out many emotions. Happiness... excitement... joy... even a touch of annoyance.

But let's skip the whole emotions speech, because it doesn't really work when you're not a celebrity. I'm not going to cry... I'm not going to cry... I'm not going to cry...

There are a lot of people I have to thank for this award. First is Vivian, for having created this awesome blog in the first place. And for always supporting my spamming with her own rather quick witted responses, rather than telling me to shut up or get lost like some other people.

I also have to thank Kripa, for introducing me to the real world of blogging. Previously, I'd spent my time writing horribly formal blogs in some godforsaken place (i.e. Windows Live Spaces). Without her, the only person who would still be reading my blogs would be my mother...

And last, but not least, I have to thank everybody who has played a part in my life. Without you, I would never have moulded into the cbox spamming and blogging girl that I am. And without you, this award would never have been mine.

Now that we have all the formalities out of the way...

WHAT THE HELL KRIPA? NEWBIE SPAMMER? NEWBIE SPAMMER!?

Thanks for making me sound like an amateur. And for your information, I have read every single post on A Part of Us. Just because I was a few months late...

Now that I got that out of my system, thank you Vivian for allowing me to ramble on your distinguished blog. You won't believe how much of an honour that is to me. A Part of Us has always been one of my favourites, and now I can't believe that I'm actually a part of it! And that Grand Opening post is so much more than I deserve. I really don't know whether I'll be able to live up to your expectations. But I'll try.

We'll be seeing more of each other, if Vivian lets me stay.

That's it for now. Thanks for reading!

Grand Opening: Sunday 3rd

LOL kripa. Thanks for the blog history lesson. I'm sure anyone studying this legendary blog will find this primary source very useful in due course. But now I have a very special announcement for my faithful readers, spammers, stalkers and authors. There will be another very talented, author joining this blog. This will be a momentous day for us all.
I must thank kripa again, for it is your krippy award which has spurred this wonderful young writer to have a, im sure, brilliant idea for a post on this blog as an acceptance speech or a witty comback? (all will be revealed) to her prestigious award. I'm not sure that sentence made sense (not for the first time), but without further ado,
I shall reveal this highly acclaimed author. The wait is over ladies and gentlemen. and ning.
I present:
one of my favourite bloggers/writers-
Rani.
hooray, I promise you all clever, entertaining and daily loss of productivity from her.And now I shall finish this post so that she can post her first lines of witticisms on A Part of Us.
